Golf pro shops Lightspeed R × Salesforce

Your pro shop knows the sale.
Now it knows the golfer.

Konnectryx keeps Lightspeed R synchronised with Salesforce in near real time, so every club, lesson and fitting you ring up builds a record of the golfer behind it. This is the POS CRM integration for golf pro shops: no exports, no overnight batch, no guessing who your regulars are.

Where your golfers come from

Three ways a golfer reaches your counter, one record at the end.

A pro shop earns from gear first, then from the lessons and service that keep golfers loyal, then from the events that put them back on the property. The connector treats all three the same way: whatever is rung through Lightspeed is attached to a person.

Clubs, apparel and the everyday gear

Drivers, wedges, shoes, gloves, sleeves of balls. Every sale lands in Salesforce as a Closed Won Opportunity with its line items, so you can see who buys premium and who only buys balls, and treat them differently.

Lessons, fittings and regripping

A five lesson package or a fitting fee is a sale like any other. Ring it through the register and the golfer's record shows who is mid-package, who finished one, and who has never been fitted.

Leagues, tournaments and clinics

League entries, junior clinics and demo days are bought at the counter too. Once they are on the record, inviting last year's entrants to this year's event is a Salesforce list, not a memory test.

How it works

Two directions,
two speeds, no re-keying.

The connector runs in two modes depending on which way the data moves. Whether it is a driver rung up on a busy Saturday or a phone number corrected from the Salesforce side, nobody presses a button.

Polled, as often as every five minutes

Insight asks Lightspeed for anything that changed since it last looked. You choose the interval, down to five minutes.

Interval you control Customers, sales, products Employees, shops, registers

Queued the moment you hit save

Any Account or Contact update in Salesforce is queued immediately and sent as fast as Lightspeed's API will accept it.

Insight polls Lightspeed on your interval, as often as every five minutes.

2

Changed customers, sales, quotes, items, employees, registers and shops are collected.

3

Records are compared against Salesforce so duplicates are not created.

4

Sales land as a Closed Won Opportunity and an Activated Order, line items included.

1

An Account or Contact is updated in Salesforce and saved.

2

That record is queued immediately, no waiting for the next poll.

3

Insight sends it as quickly as Lightspeed's API will accept changes.

4

Bulk updates are paced deliberately, so a mass edit does not overrun the queue.

One golfer, every touchpoint

From first bucket of range balls to the club championship.

Here is one illustrative golfer moving through a pro shop. The record on the right of each step is sample data, shown to explain how the Salesforce profile builds up as sales are rung through Lightspeed.

What syncs

Six objects. One click to see every field.

These are the real mappings from the product overview, not a marketing summary. Open any card to read the field level detail, including the Person Account variants that many pro shops use for individual golfers.

Type a Lightspeed field, a Salesforce label, or an API name. If your team has ever argued about where the golfer's email ends up, this settles it.

Conflicts and duplicates

When the register and the front office disagree.

A golfer gives one phone number at the counter and another when they book a lesson. Two way sync only works if disagreements are handled honestly, so the connector flags them instead of guessing, and compares records before writing so one golfer never becomes two.

Duplicate prevention

Account and contact details are compared before creation, so the same customer does not appear twice.

Flagged for review

When the same field is edited differently in each system, the record is held for a human decision.

Pick once, both update

Choose the correct value and Insight writes it to both platforms. The conflict closes.

Sync only what you want

Configuration decides what is in scope. Anything you leave out simply does not move.

Straight answers

The questions golf shops ask first.

Anything you ring through Lightspeed R is a sale, and sales are fetched into Salesforce as a Closed Won Opportunity and an Activated Order with line items. A lesson package, a fitting fee and a regrip all arrive the same way as a driver. Tee sheet and booking systems are separate products and are not part of this sync, so it is worth telling us which one you run on the call.
It depends on direction. Going from Lightspeed to Salesforce, the connector polls on an interval you set, as short as five minutes. Going from Salesforce to Lightspeed, an Account or Contact update is queued the moment it is saved and sent as fast as Lightspeed's API will accept it.
The connector compares the information inside a record before creating anything, which stops the same person turning up twice. Where the two systems genuinely disagree on a value, the record is flagged for review instead of being overwritten.
Yes. If Person Accounts are enabled in your org, the connector uses the Person Account fields in place of the default Contact mapping. Two fields behave differently under Person Accounts: Company and Website do not sync. Every variant is listed in the explorer above.
Yes. Shops and registers are fetched from Lightspeed into Salesforce, so sales can be traced to the shop and register that made them. The business needs one Lightspeed license and one Salesforce license. Larger multi-location rollouts can be scoped as custom work.
Yes. Configuration decides what is in scope, and anything you leave out does not move. It is easiest to settle while looking at your own records on a call.
The connector cannot sync Lightspeed R custom fields. Standard fields are covered thoroughly, and advanced mapping can be quoted separately if your setup depends on something unusual.
Both. The connector works with Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
